Radio Station: Toronto
Folk / Singer-Songwriter

Kevin “Koovy” McLachlan is a singer/songwriter from Whitehorse, Yukon.
He has released two original albums Small Town (2017) and Moments (2018) and performed his original music all across Canada.
Kevin most recently performed his original music in Austin, TX and Bentonville, NWA as part of The House of Songs an international songwriting organization, and in Vancouver, BC as part of the Just For Laughs NW Festival.
His songs have garnered radio play in both Canada and the USA.
Kevin is currently in the release process of a third acoustic album that will be recorded in January 2020.
He started the Sheridan Coffee House a monthly acoustic jam session at Sheridan College and has performed frequently with Artery in Toronto – an organization that connects people with artistic skills with people with places to host – performing in strangers houses, bedrooms, and living rooms.
Kevin’s own show format is to have the audience leaf through his hand written songs and select ones they want to hear, meaning every show is a different set list and different experience.
Koovy’s newest album was recorded with talented drummer Pieter Huyer, brilliant multi-instrumentalist Connor J Lucas, and remarkable guitarist Alex Panneton.
