STRNGRs become FRNDS quite swiftly when music is involved. Formed in an emptied out pool in the summer of 2017, STRNGR STRNGR has since been committed to crafting sweet tracks for your ear holes.

The original lineup of STRNGRs included Geoff Holt on Vox and Keys, Matt Peever on Drums, and Thom Harvey on Guitar.

The band began work on their album in the WHSPRNG hills of Zephyr, Ontario, in January 2019. The band enlisted their longtime FRND Bodan Mulholland to record and produce their album. It didn’t take long for Bodan to turn from FRND to STRNGR and pick up the bass, playing on the album as well joining the band full time.

STRNGR STRNGR considers themselves as the Uxbridge equivalent to Toronto’s Broken Social Scene, in the sense that one rotating and revolving selection of artists can create some WNDRFL things. On the debut album, B STRNG, you can find vocalist Julien Kelland, a very accomplished solo artist with a beautiful voice. Matt Gunn, a talented multi-instrumental who rips some Bobby Keys reminiscent saxophone riffs. Also not to be missed is the whimsical flute work of Sarah Fazackerley, also a talented multi-instrumentalist with a voice and style that is unparalleled. Just prior to releasing their debut album, Brendan Doan was added to the ranks as the new KYBRDist. B STRNG was released on January 10, 2020.

STRNGR STRNGR is currently working on more tunes with NEW FRNDS and the same STRNGRS from the Uxbridge area, so STAY TUNED AND STAY STRNG
