Vicki Lovelee is a pop artist from Toronto. She uses her emotions, vulnerabilities, and struggles as inspiration when writing music. She also incorporates fashion, art and other striking visuals to her music to add another layer of emotion. In summer of 2019, Vicki released her first single “Intruder”. Shortly after, she released the music video that showcases her creative eye which compliments her musical sense.
She recently released her second single “What I Can Do”, available on any music platform!
Vicki started music at a young age of 4 when she started learning classical piano. Then learned the drums at age 12 but found her passion through singing at 17. She always had a love for pop music and culture, and decided to hone her skills at York University. There, she studied jazz vocal performance and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2017.
Since then, she’s been working behind the scenes to have a better understanding of the music industry. She teaches music at Toronto Arts Academy. And stage manages at music events like Canadian Music Week and Newmarket Music Festival. She’s also been taking the time to understand her emotions and believes in the importance of mental health.
